Sugar, ahhhh Honey Honey.......
So todays meet was based upon sweet treats, and coming from a Diabetic, who has absolutly NO self control.. it was pure torture! ( Note: Levels are WAY up!!) However, everyone enjoyed themselves!
While the weather permitted we took to the backyard, the littlies had a ball playing on the grass ( SO glad I got him to mow it on the weekend!) and the bigger ones riding scooters and chasing each other..

Miss Lauren's "Poddies"
- Makes 24
Ingredients:
2 x Pack of Gingernut Biscuits
1 x Can Caramal Top n Fill
1 x 375gr Choc Melts
Method
1. Place biscuits on a plate ( 1 done 9 at a time) and Microwave until soft ( mine took 1minute 30 seconds)
2. While still soft ( and HOT!) mould into a lined Muffin tin
3. Add a teaspon of caramel to each one. ( i found piping worked well here!)Spread till smooth.
4. Melt chocolate and add 2 teaspoon to each one and smooth.. Put in fridge to set.
Alternatives:
If there are no nut alleriges add a walnut on top.. I was going to add chopped Jersey Caramals but IGA was out of them :( If the price of bananas ever go down, add a slice on top with some caramel ice cream topping just before serving.

We also had a few ideas floating around for a school holiday meet. So the "schoolies" Can be involved.- I know Nick is itching at the bit to get involved!
The basic principle will be everyone will bring their own sausages & bread rolls/bread and then a plate of nibblies to share amongst the group. Sam and Myself are putting together a list of what will be needed ie sauce, cups, drinks, butter. From there we can mark your name off the list as to what you want to bring. ( if you have any suggestions please let us know! mamabakeinmacarthur@gmail.com).
Location was settled on a majority rules basis yesterday. We had decided on Marsden Park, Park Central (located behind Campbelltown Hospital). This was for the locality of it, and the facilities- Public toilets, Bike track, duck pond etc. Date and Time are pending.
There is also some big, HUGE things in the pipeline for us Mamabake in Macarthur girls. So watch this space as more thing evolve!
Im off to get more coffee- 1 cup is never enough :)
Sending lots of love and light.
