Pure Indulgence

Trifle, *wipes drool* when I think of trifle, I think christmas and of my Nan always letting me lick the serving spoon. But its not just a christmas dish.. well maybe the traditional one is in this family..

But a few years back i found a recipe for choc cherry trifle, after years of making it i no longer use the recipe, but have "made it my own".

So here goes:

Lauren's Choc Cherry Trifle

Ingredients:
1 x Pack Lamington Fingers
1 x Pack Raspberry Jelly
1x Pack of Cottees Chocolate Instant Pudding
2x Large Cherry Ripes
1x 600ml Thickened Cream
1x Flake bar.

Method:
1. In a large glass ( its looks prettier in glass!) bowl, arrange lamington fingers.

2. Make Jelly as per packet. Pour over the lamingtons - GENTLY. Put in fridge to set.

3. When set, Make Pudding mix as per pack and pour on top. Sprinkle some chopped Cherry Ripe on top. Put in fridge to set.

4. Whip cream, Sprinkle remaining chopped Cherry Ripe on top. Sprinkle Crushed Flake over the top.

5. ENJOY!

Alternativly, you can add more Cherry Ripe and fold it through the whipped cream to give more of a 'crunch'. The top as per recipe.
This has become somewhat of a favourite in this house - especially since Shane favourite chocolate is a cherry ripe!

Please note there is no "eye candy" on this post.. The server is down and wont let me load the pics. Will try again later  :)

Sending love and Light
