I'm going to admit this - I have known Lauren about as long as I have had children on this Earth - so 5 years give or take. In that time I have never known a woman more loving or giving than her. I don't think of Lauren as a friend - she is more than that, she is like a sister.
So it is with great honour I give to you - the 'stop Lauren going stabby at the nurses' tub of love - it has a nicer ring than 'care package'. You see, Miss Lauren is currently having a little rest in hospital whilst the little being she is baking is giving her a little trouble, typical male (that's tongue in cheek btw - I cannot stand generalisations).
A picture says a thousand words but inside (that you can't see) we have:
Diabetic Biscuits and Cakes (shaped like dinosaurs because well she's a wee bit mad for them) - recipes for which were posted under Diabetic Delights.
3 Packets Natural Confectionery Company Lollies - self restraint shall be required
Cheesy Popcorn - air popped so diabetic friendly (simply place 1/3 Cup Kernels in a microwave proof bowl, cover and leave to go for about 4mins on high - same rules as packet popcorn - once you get to a pop every few seconds time to stop - then finely grate cheddar cheese on top and toss through. Alternatively you could melt butter and mix that through with salt/shake some paprika on it/shake icing sugar/pour caramel on top - basically anything you can think of).

Diary and Pens to write her journey in
Trashy mags - Take 5, That's life and Recipes + (which ironically enough has a section dedicate to freezer meals - I thought that was appropriate given what has happened in her house this week)
Make your own eggs - because sadly I could not find a sugar free egg and she had to have SOMETHING for Easter
A cuddly fleece blanket to snuggle under and watch movies - in their football team colours.
But what you cannot see in there is the love that has been packed in - we are thinking of you Lauren, and you know anything you need at all we are here for you (I'll get cracking on that pasta bake now to avoid another err 'incident').
